WIWW the green issue

So we have had a rather warm week here in H town.  It starts out cool and warms up during the day.  It's very warm for this time of the season.  You see it's usually cold and raining, so I can't complain.  I did have to bust out the flip flops so you know what that means.  Yes I had to paint the piggies.  I didn't have much time to photograph my outfits.  It's been a very busy week.  Baseball started and I am the team mom for my oldest sons team.  I'm just trying to get it all started and then it's smooth sailing after that.  We have had practice almost everyday for one or the other.  So none of my outfits are anything special.  In fact I think everything is old, like several years old.   The blurry pics were taken with my old rebel.  I am excited that my new 7d takes a wireless remote (that I already had)!  I came back to edit this post as I wanted to state I guess I'm in a green mood, more like chartreuse green that is.  This Tee below, the cardigan, and I even bought another green like cardi with embroidery on it at a boutique that was having a great sale.  I just love this color and don't find it much.  I don't care if I look good in a certain color I buy what I like.  And I like COLOR! I don't wear too much all black outfits (very often)  I feel if I have bright or even soft colors it makes me feel happy.  And between the happy mommy music (aka Jack Johnson) and some pretty colored clothes it can lift my spirits.  So that's why I called it the green issue. Now I feel better that I explained it better.

 I look rode hard and hung up wet.  I ran the roads all day and was very tired and frustrated with my camera as I somehow set my exposure compensation to way underexpose my picture and I had to pull out the manual to fix it also it wasn't the best time of day to take pics in the front as too much direct light and shadows from the front porch columns.  So if I look sick and tired to you I was!  don't worry I feel better today!

Say hello to my new bestfriend

I have a new friend in the DeRusse house.  His name is Canon 7d. My combination happy valentines/Birthday/anniversary/mothersday present.  I was so happy when Mark said yes order it!  I have been playing around with it quite a bit.  It's taken me awhile to figure out how to change the settings and their are so many more buttons than I know what to do with!  Here's me and my new BFF

WIWW

Well I really just haven't been feeling the desire to keep up with my wiww, maybe I should take a break.  I mostly need to take a break from seeing all the cute ladies and their cute outfits that make me want to run out and buy new clothes.  I really want to just hold off until spring weather wants to hang around.  We have had a rather warm week but I can't really enjoy it too much because I know it won't last long.  But spring will be here soon enough.

wiww a little late

This week I really haven't been into getting dressed.  I even had a day that I wouldn't want anyone to see me.  It's been a very tough week. Kooper is full fledged into the terrible two's and at a level 10.  I would be happy to feed him candy and Gatorade for breakfast if only he wouldn't just throw it back at me and have a melt down on the floor.  He's drivin me to drinkin!
  This is the first week of a true assignment from Karen Russells class and as I was uploading my pics from the camera I realized that I took more wiww pics than I thought.  They are nothing to be proud of, in fact one I had to make myself get dressed.  It's been so cold and I just don't feel like getting all dolled up just to stay home or go to the store at the most.  So here it is, nothing special but Baseball has started so that has given me more of an incentive to get dressed presentable but it will be a challenge to find time to take a picture as I missed one outfit that was cute but it was a repeat from my trip to Dallas.

Say goodbye to my little friend

Our beloved Pacifier is making an exit from the DeRusse house.

 Yes Kooper will greatly miss him, they had a love hate relationship.  He loved to suck on it but would throw him everywhere.

It was a constant battle with Kooper, he would scream/whine and everyone would stop and search for the pasi. Anything to stop the high pitch screeching.  But enough is enough.  We have become a slave to the pacifier.  I can't take the searching anymore.  The stop everything just to plug him up and keep him from talking even more.  So I did it.  While Mark was gone for the day on Saturday I couldn't take it anymore so I gathered them all up and put them in the trash.  I tried to just have them for bedtime but he kept climbing up the drawers and got into a candy jar that we kept the pacifiers in just to them.  But no more.  He saw this picture and started saying paci paci!  How sad.  Not.  He has been tolerating it well but wakes up 2-3 times per night looking for it and I have to get him back down.  It's for the better.

So I didn't do so good this week with taking pictures, either I forgot to get a picture or there was nothing special about my outfit to photograph.  I would be very surprised if many people are doing their wiww with all the horrible weather going on, if I was snowed in I would be in sweats all day.

so their was no reason to get out and I put a comfy shirt on with my slippers and called it a day.

Sorry it wasn't a very exciting week, I really haven't done much and have been hunkered down in the casa.  Trying not to spend so much money on clothes.  Plus my photo class with Karen Russell started this week so I have cameras on the brain.  Now my delima is should I upgrade and get a good L lens or bite the bullet and get a new camera.  Just trying to justify the cost!
